NEW BLOG - join today!

Hi everyone!

As many of you know, I started in 1996 with a Yahoo group and some vary simple captions. I also wrote some stories along the way. 3 years ago, I started this blog and with over 300 posts and 140+ members, I'm thrilled that so many of you appreciate my work.

I am now transitioning away from Yahoo altogether for simplicity purposes. My new blog is called FAMILY TRADITION: THE ARCHIVE, and any media I have developed that is not here on this blog will be there.

I will be spending much of the next 30+ days posting everything from Yahoo to that group and then shutting down Yahoo. I won't be giving up new postings here although I have hit a creative lag - but I'm sure that will come back :)

You can visit my new blog at http://ftarchive.blogspot.com Thanks all

Love and kisses,
Annie :)

Relaunched Yahoo groups - FT Archives

I posted this meesage on my Yahoo! groups tonight

Greetings members of FTGC and the Pageant groups!

I, Annabelle Raven (please, call me Annie) have relaunched my highly successful groups with new themes, new URLs, and all of the old materials - with some upgrades! :)

In February, I launched a new age of my collection of generational transgender fiction and fantasy - Family Tradition: TG Caps and Stories at http://ft-tg.blogspot.com

Since then I have posted about 50 times with many classic and many new captions and content. Much of the new content uses higher definition photos and is also in 16:9 wide screen format. My original plan was to transport my work from Yahoo to Blogspot, but that is quite the moving job LOL. Plus I review some caps either the photos are too fuzzy or there is grammatical - rather - are grammatical errors, and so on.

Therefore I have decided to keep my groups open. They have been renamed Family Tradition - Archive 1 and Archive 2. Their new addresses are:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/family-tradition-tg1/

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/family-tradition-tg2/

Much of the original material is under "Legacy" file folders. But I am now adding some content first introduced on the blog, including:

15 new original captions on Archive 1
4 new "Pageant" centerfolds on Archive 2

Note: All of these captions debuted on this blog!

all in 16:9 wide screen!

Soon I hope to add a fully rendered photo story version of the Karen Elizabeth L classic "Family Changes" in 16:9. It will be 120 captions long! If you want to see 1-70, they are on the blog right now. Join us as

http://ft-tg.blogspot.com

Thank you all for years of loyal membership and great feedback. I hope to see you both on Yahoo and the blogisphere! :)

PS: I also hope to see you on Femur's TG Comics forum at http://www.tgcomics.com

Love,
Annabelle Raven

100+ Story database - "Best Of" Family TG Fiction - links to great stories

As Family Tradition nears 100 posts, I thought I would look through my collection of stories written over the past 10-15 years by some of the best authors on the net, and I decided to honor their work in the following way:

On my original Yahoo group, now known as
Family Tradition - Archive 1, I have created in my links section a folder devoted to direct links to over 100 unique stories by about 30 different authors. The stories run the gamut:

1. Seperate folders for some of the most prolific authors in the genre: Alyssa Davis, Ginger Collins, Jennifer Sue, my galpal Jezzi Stewart, and of course, my all time favorite, Karen Elizabeth L.
2. There are many great G and PG stories for those of you with softer sensibilities. "Girls At Heart" by Silly Sissy Sarah is one of those kinds of stories. Another one is Ricky's "The Pretenders" which is not only a great tale of a newly-dressed "mom" and "daughter", it's just a tremendously well written story as well. And you must check out Hebe Dotson's 3-part series "Petticoat Rewards." It will make you horny and cry in the same seating.
3. On the other hand, there are numerous stories that are very raunchy and I tried to mark ever story R, X, or XXX for the heat content. If you don't like them, pay attention to the rating and don't click. This is, after all, an adult blog. But if you do like them, I recommend among others the Bobbie Bazoom "Presto Chango" series. And Alexis DeMoire's "Life in a Full Circle" is very very naughty but very sweet at the same time. And the great thing was finding on Pretty Sissy Dani's own blog some of her long time classics, especially the ones based in the sissy-loving town of Stepford. Finally, Gingerfred Man's sissy classics (especially the ones where father and son learn from each other the joy of being a man's sweet girl) are also here.

If you think of any other multi-family transfomation tales worth sharing, I'd love to see you put them in your comments! Thanks!

IMPORTANT: You must have a Yahoo! groups account in order to view the list. :)

Annie's Update

Greetings! A few things going on here...

1) On my legacy Yahoo! group (click here) I just updated my Family Fiction Link Database (here) - mostly to update many of the Storysite links (since it is in disrepair, many of the stories in the storysitetwo domain were now broken, and by removing the three letters "two", that immediately fixed them) Great authors such as Karen Elizabeth L, Gingerfred Man, and more are represented there, and some new stuff, including an awesome story by Lauran called "Son" (here) that I feel is the best story I ever saw on Big Closet. :)

2) I have begun posting some of my "transformation" caps on Transformation Media (here) - by TF, the moderator TF guy wants to see some sort of bodily transformation - which I see as mostly magic or body alteration. True CD'ing does not work. I think it could help bring some new blood here as well. Thanks at all there who have given me kudos for the work.

3) I am thinking of moving towards more "adult" caps and content, and I am thinking of either using this blog, or a new blog, or making this the home of the adult content and moving ther "sweeter" stuff to a new blog. I may have a poll on this.

Thanks All

Archive Update - some reorganizing

Hello sisters :)

I have done a little rearranging of my Yahoo groups.  Six years ago before I founded this blog, I started publishing my recaps of existing stories and some original caps on Y!, and at one time had four groups.  Y! has since expanded their capacity for storage, although they do go down too much for my liking.

For the last 2 years I have only 2 groups:  my primary group Family Traditions (now known as FT:ARCHIVE 1) and a second archive that was originally dedicated to a new universe called "The Pageant"  That was about a billionaire and his son who became women and then wanted to recruit father/son teams from across the world to spread the love of the feminine bond.  I got thru 3 chapters which introduced the "leadership team" of Caruso Inc and four newly transformed moms and daughters: the wholesome McKays from Maine, the brassy Caseys from Las Vegas, the skittish Harrises from SoCal and the vibrant Puzons from Hawai'i.

As I have gone thru my growth as a TG artiste (hope that doesn't sound too presumptuous) I had started to get away from using celebs as models with an eye towards using ladies who actually resembled each other.  For example, I had Rene Russo and Alyssa Milano as mother/daughter.  But while Rene is a blue eyed auburn tressed MILF, Alyssa has the classic Sicilian dark hair, skin tone, and brown eyes.  Both gals may have Italian heritage but they hardly resemble each other.  I have lots of other celeb duos lined for the rest of the show, but I realize that many of the pairings were reaches on my part. I also hit a wall with creative storytelling.

Ergo, I am rebooting The Pageant.  I already have plans to keep some duos together, some gals will get new moms or daughters, and a lot of bio info will also alter.  I also would like to match some duos with like minded features.  For example, Susan Sarandaon and Eva Amurri are real life mom/daughter, and I have role for them that is similar but not the same as Rene and Alyssa had.

The new project, titled "Project: Chrysalis" may be less daunting that what I lined up for the Pageant, but I hope it will be very well recieved.

Anyhoo, back to my reorganization.  That group where Pageant caps appeared will be closing at my discretion as of July 4, 2010. But don't fear - as all of the Pageant caps - and all caps from this blog will now appear in the photos section of the Yahoo archive.  The photo uploader on Y! is very easy to use and organize and seems to have a "bottomless pit" in space to upload.

As far ever bringing the "Pageant" here?  I don't know.  Would you all help me decide?  I have a poll for you :)

As I sit here looking at my little blog - we have 184 unique postings, with over 400+ pix.  Most importantly, I have 94 wonderful subscribers and hopefully if you are reading this and haven't joined, that I hope you will.  THANK YOU - LOVE YOU
